Activities

The activities of the Association are the following

1. To have perpetual succession by its corporate name.
2. To promote the economic development of the rural and tribal people by undertaking projects with the co-operation of the Government and other voluntary agencies.
3. To create, foster and motivate community sense, sense of individual responsibility, leadership, citizenship, scientific attitude, family life.
4. To execute, to provide and/ or administer Community Lift Irrigation Project, Village Research and Development Committee and Centres, Community dug wells, rural low high cost housing Schemes, Community Marketing facilities, Storing and Transporting facilities for the rural produce.
5. To promote peace, cooperation and good will among the people.
6. To conduct seminars and to provide and/ or administer model projects for the people to create more awareness of the State they are in and to motivate themselves with their effort and contribution in collaboration with the planning and programme of the various agencies of the Government.
7. To provide timely and up-to-date information to the people with modern communication technology on relevant matters and about programmes, projects, and proposals of the Government at the District and Block levels which will enhance their speedy involvement in the planning and execution of these developmental activities.
8. To promote agriculture, rural entrepreneurship, social forestry on contract or on lease basis, animal husbandry, cottage industry, rural employment scheme, and savings planned families among the people.
9. To provide and/ or administer cooperative societies, banks, agricultural or industrial settlement or association and other educational and vocational training institutes.
10. To promote responsible parenthood by encouraging suitable means to attain it and thus promote population control.
11. To the some extent as natural persons, might or could do to acquire by purchase, gifts, grants, legacy, request, exchange or otherwise from any person, company, associations, Government or other institution whatsoever and to hold all or part of movable or unmovable properties of all description lands, buildings, easements, right of common now or here after vested in or in the possession of UPAYA.
12. To erect houses, colleges, schools, libraries, clubs, educational training and research institutions, constructions or structures whatsoever to further the purpose of the Association and to maintain, alter, demolish or reconstruct the same or any portion or portions thereof.
13. To maintain, deal with, and manage the said movable properties of all descriptions of the said Association.
14. To alienate by way of sale, mortgage, lease, exchange, gifts, hiring out, or otherwise any of the properties, movable or immovable, of the Association or portions thereof, unless otherwise stipulated in a particular case by the terms of a will, legacy, bequest, grant, etc.
15. To invest or deal with the money of the Association not immediately required, upon such securities or in such manner as from time to time may be determined by the Governing Body of the Association.
16. To enter into arrangements with any Government or Authority whether Supreme, State, District, Municipal, Local or otherwise that may seem to be conducive to the objects of the Association or to any of them and to obtain from any Government or Authority such rights, concessions, and privileges as the Association may think desirable and to obtain, carryout, exercise and comply with any such arrangements, rights, privileges and concessions.
17. To take and receive any gift of money or other property or any bequest or foundation whether subject to any special trust or not for any one or more of the objects of the Association and to accept the office of and act as trustees, managers, and administrators, whether solely or jointly, with others or another for or in respect of any gift or any other property whether vested in the Association or otherwise and whether subject to any trust and notwithstanding that the carrying out of such trusts, managements, and administration would involve the exercise by the Association of power not specifically mentioned in these presents.
18. To establish, promote, or assist in establishing or promoting and to subscribe to or become a member of any other society whose objects are similar or in part similar to the objects of the Association, or the establishment or promotion of with may be beneficial to the Association.
19. To administer or manage local parochial funds of the Association or Institution or Institutions directly or with the help of juntas, or fabric as or UPAYA wardens, and to administer, manage or control Institutions, establishments, Organizations, and societies of the Association.
20. To establish, construct, organize, consolidate, support, develop, acquire, take over, conduct, equip, alter, maintain and administer, close down and dispose of.
    • Developmental, Educational, Cultural, Technical, Scientific, Social and Charitable Institutions and all their branches.
    • Institute for training social and public workers.
21. To print, publish, issue, exhibit journals, periodicals books, papers, pamphlets, advertisements, reports, lectures and other regarding material for the advancements, promotion and diffusion or useful knowledge and information concern the works and activities of the Association.
22. To organize and motivate the village committee of the panchayat and to execute and/ or administer the various developmental schemes declared by the Government for the particular villages at the Block level on a non-profit making basis.
23. The Association is non-political in all its activities and objects.
24. The Association is purely for humanitarian work for the development of all the people especially the Youth.
25. The beneficiaries to the Association will be persons irrespective of caste, creed and culture.
